DR. TIM BEATLEY

Dr. Tim Beatley is the “Teresa Heinz Professor of Sustainable Communities” at the University of Virginia, School of Architecture, and the coiner of the term “green urbanism”.

BILL BROWNING

Bill Browning is one of the green building and real estate industry’s foremost thinkers and strategists, and an advocate for sustainable design solutions at all levels of business, government, and civil society.

MARY DAVIDGE

Mary Davidge retired as Google's Director of Global Design, Real Estate, and Workplace Services in September 2014. Her work focuses on green buildings and sustainable architecture.

DR. TUWANDA GREEN

Tuwanda Green has over 32 years of architectural experience and holds a doctorate in architecture from Virginia Tech. Dr. Green owns and manages an architecture business. Her work is supplemented by her previous government design projects which spans multiple locations domestically and internationally.  Dr. Green’s keen passion to improve spaces for the benefit of occupant health is seen in her role as subject matter expert, teacher, educational conference speaker, and researcher.

ERIN JENDE

Erin Jende is the Director of Marketing Communications, Americas at Interface, and has served in this role since April 2017. Before, she was an Account Executive with Interface for six years, and was the Vice President of & Marketing at Cartral Doyle Creative Company for seven years.

GREG KASPARIAN

Greg Kasparian is the co-founder of Creek Retreat. His and his wife’s vision for a wellness retreat took shape in August 2017. Greg’s career has been spent in the wellness space, including the opening of the International Dermal Institute in NYC in 1999.

HARRIET ANDERSON LANGFORD

Harriet Langford is President and Trustee of the Ray C. Anderson Foundation, a Georgia-based private family foundation honoring the legacy of her father, the late Ray C. Anderson (1934-2011), Founder and Chairman of Interface, Inc.

MARK “PUCK” MYKLEBY – VICE PRESIDENT

Mark retired from the Marine Corps in July 2011 after 24 years of service.. Mark is now a co-director of the Strategic Innovation Lab at Case Western Reserve University where he continues his work on grand strategy and sustainability.

STEVE NYGREN

Steve Nygren is the founder of Serenbe, a wellness community just south of Atlanta, Georgia. He also helped form the Biophilic Institute, and currently serves on the Department of Community Affairs Board and chairs the Task Force for Comprehensive Planning for Georgia.

MONICA OLSEN

Monica Olsen is a marketing executive with over 20 years of experience working with Fortune 500 to boutique brands, advertising agencies and Silicon Valley start-ups. She has extensive brand and client work with a deep agency background. She currently leads marketing for Serenbe.

JEFF SMITH

Jeff has a Ph.D. in A.I. and Robotics. He was a Board member and CTO of Catapult Health a leader in A.I. and Telemedicine for wellness. Jeff is a serial entrepreneur and founded the first ISP and web hosting company in the Southwest. In 2019 he and his wife Lisa built a sustainable farm in East Texas. They are excited to be joining the Serenbe Community.

DR. PHILL TABB

Dr. Phill Tabb is a Professor of Architecture at Texas A&M. He created the masterplan for the wellness community Serenbe. Tabb teaches studio design, the theory of placemaking, and he is a practicing urban designer and licensed architect.

MICHAEL TAYLOR

Michael is at Beacon Group of Morgan Stanley due to it adherence to a Modern Wealth Management process that provides clients with unparalleled technology, tools and products that get employed in a customized plan created in consultation with clients, deployed with great care, and then monitored and adjusted with diligence. He graduated with honors from both Georgetown University Law Center and Cornell University. He lives in Brookhaven, GA with his wife Amy, their two children, and dog, Myra.

DR. ALFIE VICK

Alfred Vick is the Georgia Power Professor in Environmental Ethics at the University of Georgia. He is a licensed landscape architect and a LEED Fellow. Professor Vick’s research focuses on green infrastructure and sustainable site design, landscape performance metrics, native plant communities, and Cherokee ethnobotany.
